Boyboy came to pick me up after his nap from night shift for Mellben Seafood with his family! Belated celebration for his dad's birthday. Boyboy's treat! Haha ｡^‿^｡ I paid him still though! Just feel like I shouldn't "waste" his money. I'd never let him treat me unless it's our special day or occasion. (Like anniversary, my birthday or getting a bonus haha). I'd also insist to pay for half of his car petrol fees whenever he gets it pumped when we're out. I think it's important to make your other half feel like they are not taken granted for.. And these are not things that I deserve, it's all his own sweat and hard-earned money. He's working very hard to save up for our future so yealo ❤ Wait until get married get joint account liao then let him pay to his heart's content ba LOLOLOL. By then 他的钱就是我的钱 and 我的钱就是他的钱，对吗? Hahaha.  Hehe photo of my cheeky boyboy munching on some finger food that I brought down to share. (Too hungry leh, eat some finger food to 顶住 first lolol).  The great thing about being a "passenger" - you get to enjoy the beautiful sky view! Hehe.  A short 10+ minutes drive and we arrived ◕‿◕ This was taken in his car! Had a hard time finding a parking lot though.  Found a lot somewhere further back and selfie (wefie?) timeeeeeee!  Look at him act cute.......... But actually quite cute LOLOL. ❤ Checked out the menu as we waited for his dad (and family) to find a parking lot ~ They ordered 2 crabs along with other side dishes and drinks for the happy occasion ( ´ ▽ ` )ﾉ I was already down with a flu then...... Felt really paiseh to keep sneezing throughout as we ate. TSK ╥﹏╥  Coconut drink! Not a fan of coconut (boyboy knows it), NO IDEA WHY HE ORDERED FOR ME LOLOL. Drank it anyways haha.  Salad You Tiao! I loveeeeeeeeee these stuffed fried dough sticks with mayonaiseeeeeeee! (￣▽￣)  Shimmering Sand Crab! Loved the crunchy and buttery sauce that packs a solid punch. The meat inside was really fresh and juicy too! Fried 馒头 (mini fried buns) went amazingly well with this hehe.  Claypot Crab Bee Hoon Soup! I think this was my favourite besides salad youtiao LOLOLOL. They ordered an extra large bowl of bee hon and soup too! Not a fan of seafood so I'd usually eat only a little of the meat and devour everything else. YES I can eat all the bee hoon and drink all the soup "ALL DAY ERRRRRR DAY". Ohmygod, totally regretted saying "all day errrrr day" to boyboy cause he kept kajiao-ing me with that throughout the entire evening LOLOL TSK. Did not take photos of the other side dishes ah... His family there so I paiseh take so many LOLOL (honest). "I AM SHY BUT I AM ALSO NOT SHY". - Totally me. Had our tumtums filled and time to go home loh ~ Walked pass this stretch of shop houses to the car and came across this cafe. Took a closer look inside and we saw dogs. OHMYGOD DOGS, YESSU YESU DOGGGS!  A golden retriever, toy poodle and chihuahua. TELL ME YOU WOULDN'T GO IN? OF COURSE I WENT INNNNNNNNNN.  Saw two of my favourite dogs "greeting" / "making friends" with each other when we walked in. Golden retriever and toy poodle. Two of favourite breeds! Am hoping to get these two doggies in my future homeee ~ Took a liking to toy poodle (especially brown ones) few years ago after following this YouTube celebrity. Always liked golden retrievers since I was like damn damn young lolol awwwww. Heaven on earth, that's how the place is like for me ~~~~~~  "HEY THERE WHATCHU DOINGGGGGG?" TOO CUTE. TOO BEAUTIFUL.  Did not even bother to take a look at their menu LOL. Went straight in to the counter, saw this apple crumble cake and just ordered one right off the bat. (Boyboy was superrrr stuffed so I ordered for myself LOL). Ordered one but in the end TWO cakes came. NEVERMIND STILL HAPPY JUST EAT ONLY LO EHEHEH. Boyboy was like "Aiyo why so fast order can see the menu got what dessert ma." BUT I DOWAN LEH I MORE INTERESTED IN SEEING THE DOGGIES HEHEHE.............  "Hey there whatchu doing to my butt?" Hahaha boyboy pampering the goldy as he walked to and fro and to and fro ~ How to describe this beautiful goldy? I'd use the word majestic. Can't describe my love for dogs. Then again damn scared I don't know how to take care also. SHALL RESEARCH AND ASK FRIENDS WITH DOGGIES FOR LOTS OF ADVICE, NOTES AND TIPS. Gahhhhhhhh. Such a happy day. Shall hunt down more dog cafes to visit ~ Left the cafe feeling ridiculously happy LOL. Anyways! The cafe is called Happenstance. Saw at least 6 different breeds of dogs there. Will definitely head back for more doggies!!! (Or maybe bring my own doggies there next time hehe).   Simple and delightful place. Look at that toy poodly staring blankly at me as snap snap this photo awwwwww. ❤ ❤ ❤ Happy day with happy food and happy people (and dogs this time too!) once again. Will update again soon hehe. Okay more like sleeping ugly hahahahahah.  My brother tries to wake me up early every weekend AND IF I DON'T - I'd get to see these unglamarous photos in my camera roll when I'm finally up. Every. Single. Week - without fail. Lolololol. Hehe let's talk the day todayyyyyyyyyy! ｡◕‿◕｡ Am down with a sudden flu, fell asleep only after 5 A.M after hours of rolling around. Such abnormal sleep time....... Could even hear the crows cawing for morning worms liao. (Serious). Meh. Need to take care loh, flying off in a week's time. Woke up early anyways (at bout' 9.30) to meet the "sisters" in Chinatown. Changed our SGD to USD and did some mini shopping round' the area. Got ourselves a few apparels at only 10 bucks each. Luckyyyyy ehehehe. Cheap cheap yet good quality, great for the weather in U.S now hehe (≧∇≦) Left them to continue their shopping and makan as I head back to school. YES I HEADED BACK TO SCHOOOOOOL. Our professor requested my presence sobsobs. Headed back to get my sampling locations and field equipment checked. My research scope's on Urban Heat Island effect in Buffalo, NY ~ Sooooo it's my job make sure all my weather tracks are good and ready to goooooo.  Yay! My weather trackers hehe. Was told to lug 8 of these home and divide it (one each) with my friends so they can help me lighten the load lolol. Else my luggage will overload worz. Actually there's this other guy (a cross-over so we're not close with him).. He's using weather tracks for his research too but he already flew off to U.S (in advance all by himself) so I ended up checking his share too lolol. SO KIND TIOK BOH. ( ´ ▽ ` )ﾉ Actually is bobian cause my professor wanted me to hahahah. Then again I don't mind la. Only 18 in total (including both mine and his). No hard labour of any sort, just checking the battery level and adding in an extra pair just in case.  This is the software and device to transfer all the data to my laptop! Yessu yessu. This is the troublesome thing cause the box is so bulky. Had to lug this in my luggage too mannnnnnnnnnnnn. (・_・ヾ The things inside are all so flat and tiny..... But the box iz so the fatty?! LOLOL shall ask my prof if I can place it in a smaller case of my own. Got everything settled and met my boyboy to shop shop for all the remaining stuffs needed for my trip. So thankful he's always accompanying me with no complains, making sure I get all my stuffs properly. His car also made things way convenient cause we don't have to carry all the things on hand after shopping at each location ~ Hehe thank you so welly muchie. ❤  Boy boy was craving for don so we decided to have dinner @ Men Men Don Don Ordered a bowl of katsu-don and oyakudon each! I think my katsu-don tasted better LOLOL. CRAVING FOR THIS AGAINNNNNNN. Simple but nice leh hehe. THE RUNNY EGG, ohmygod best. Finished the entire bowl (and even boyboy's lefover) cause it was too good. (Maybe I was just too hungry LOLOL PIG PIG IN THE MAKING). Home sweet home and here's my packing progress! Actually this is my first overseas trip that exceeds a week. 18 days............... •﹏• I'm kinda all scared and paranoid that I keep getting "nightmares" of myself forgetting to pack enough jeans, clothes + late for flight, never bring passport etc etc - ALL THESE KIND OF NONSENSE LOLOLOL. (My subconscious paranoia too strong ah maybe? Haha.) SO YES I PACKED EVERYTHING EARLY SO I CAN STOP GETTING THESE WEIRD PARANOID DREAMS LOLOLOL. ( ☉_☉)  Lots of disposable cotton underwear..... And the "hole" on the left is for my sleeping bag haha. (The sleeping bag to act as a "bedsheet" and also a blanket LOLOL). Just waiting for a few more tops to dry and I'm good to go! Mix of nervousness and excitement. Not sure what to expect but I hope all will be well! Thankful for this experience cause I know it's hard to come by.. Friday, May 15, 2015 | 0 comment[s] And once upon a time, my lil' brother was a baby boy..... .jpg) LOL SO 可爱 RIGHTZ?! ❤ ❤ ❤ Well he's all grown and "chunky" and "pimply" now. It struck me to start putting all my photos to good use ever since I bought my iPhone 6+ this year. My iPhone 5 had close to - * wait for it * 10,000 worth of photos in total. "WOW." - LOLOL (most of my friends' reaction), I know right? Siao or what so many photos lololol. I don't use my phone for games. Usually I'd hit up some popular game apps for awhile, get turned off after a few weeks and just chuck it aside to rot / delete soon after. I don't download or transfer music (spotify for me), videos or movies into my phone too. What happened to that 10K? Used and uploaded probably only about 5% online and off the rest went into my 1TB hard disk. (My iPhone 5 is discarded in some dark corner of my room now, served me well for 2 years). Hais ╥﹏╥ Honestly, the chances of me plugging in my hard disk to browse through photos are just plain low. I can only imagine myself doing that when I'm like dying or something? LOLOLOL. Scrutinize the photos one by one, reminisce.. And then cry cry that kind of thing you know? Yep touch wood. (・_・ヾ So yes, as promised to myself, aside from all the stupid foodie pics and occasional random photos I upload on my facebook, twitter or private Instagram account, I shall make good use of this blog to "bind my memories" with both photographs and words. Ehehehe! (I'm online almost all the time, so might as well). This promise was initially made in January after my iPhone 6 purchase. BUT BUT BUT JUST HAPPENED SO THAT THE FIRST "MEMORY" CREATED WASN'T ALL THAT....... "PLEASANT" TO REMEMBER. January 5th - New iPhone. January 8th - Broke my toe @ Adventure Cove Waterpark. In pain, grumpy, and distressed LOLOL where got mood to update sia.. No mood liao loh. ( ̵˃﹏˂̵ ) (Shall update bout' my toe thingy one day too haha). Anyways, I do blog-hop almost every single day but nobody updates about their life any more. Most of YOU GUYS (are you reading this?!) have your last post dangling at 2012 - 2014. Life is getting serious, life is getting busier, life is getting.. I don't know. Everything is moving so quickly it seems like every year is passing by faster. Reading back on some of my old posts reminded me of all the things that I have "forgotten", all the great moments I've lived and all the stupid, silly, funny and cherishable snippets of life that I have outlived and outgrew. It's holiday for me nao, so yes yes hehe I am making this happen. Rather than reading some other bloggers' lives, I shall take the effort to make my own life eventful and memorable hehe. (~˘▾˘)~ 10 years down the road when I dig out these posts to read again I hope it still puts a smile or even a tear on my face hehe. SO LUO SUO YOUR TITLE BUEY GAM WITH ALL THE GIBBERISH YOU TALKING. YALA YALA me shall update bout' today liao hehehehehe. . . . . . . Met the long time girls today for catch up-makan-celebration! Been long since I met some of them.. Especially Xingying! (I think it has almost been a year since I last met her? Haha). Rendevouz-ed at Clarke Quay and off to Tonkatsu Kazan for dinner.    Free hard boiled eggs at our disposal and my favourite unsweetened iced matchaaaaa!  The 3 ladies opposite me.  The two ladies beside me.  That face LOLOL. I cannot......... (≖ᴗ≖๑)  Most of us arrived (except for Zenghui) and we ordered our foodie! (Made her way home and then here to meet us after she touched down from Bali) I made reservation for 7 and this auntie was like: “Eh, 还有一个。你们不要等你的朋友啊？” “不要” - LOL.  Left to right: seafood, spicy and curry ramen. Cass's recommendation: Two person can share a single stone pot cause the serving is crazy huge.  Free bowl of rice and top-up of soup upon finishing the ramen noodles. Carbohydrates overload haha.  And tada..........! This girl girl finally arrived at last. By the time she came we were all like stuffed to the brim LOLOL. The serving is too huge for her to annihilate herself so we asked if she wanted to head somewhere else for dinner or don't mind having some "leftovers" from each of our pot. SERIOUSLY AH ̵˃﹏˂̵ LOLOL I know this sounds like really terrible but it's actually not........ (We still had quite a bit left with all the soup top-up and added rice). Say no to food wastage!!! (And she truly didn't mind). Anyways ~ The same waitress auntie brought the menu over, told her we didn't need it and she was like: “她不要 order ah？” “不要，她帮我们吃 leftovers.” Lolololololol. Had her fill, paid up and we strolled down the lighted streets in hunt for some dessert. Came across some street performances and programmes (Singapore HeritageFest) lined up by National Heritage Board. Very interesting ^‿^  Group shot with the "May babies" on the trishaw ( ´ ▽ ` )ﾉ  Decided on Marble Slab Creamery for dessert and yays ice cream! Also presenting some nutella-banana muffins baked by my very talented "banana" HEHE ❤  Sang-song, had their wishes made and chit-chatted with more random updates and conversations.  Hehe. Tuesday, May 12, 2015 | 0 comment[s] Met boyboy in the morning for brunch! Hehe. ( ˘ ³˘)❤ Boyboy suggested 23 Jumpin and drove down to Macpherson for this cafe. It's located in midst of all the industrial and corporate buildings lololol. If it's not for his car I confirm cannot find LOLOL #suaku as always. Follow GPS also can walk wrong one (sometimes only la hor). Hahahaha. We were the first few patrons of the morning andddddd ~~~ TADAAAAAA!  Morning thirst, ordered myself a nice cup of Thai milk tea and boyboy had his hot chocolate.  Hehe cute boyboy and boyboy slurping on his hot chocolate ~ ❤ ❤ ❤  Honey paprika wings and mushroom pizza waffle! BOTH GOOD. (~˘▾˘)~ HEHE. Loved it so much. Wings tasted almost like the ones at Lola's Cafe. Happy happy morning with happy food! Wanted to tell boyboy to drop me at Macpherson MRT but BUT!!!! Checked my bag and realized I forgot Pearlpearl's birthday present ╥﹏╥ Forever one. Klutz. Sent me home to fetch it, he wanted to send me Macpherson MRT, chased him home to nap nap instead cause he's on night shift today. * Inserts all the travelling and blahblahblahblahblah * YAYEE! Met up with my favourite group in uni and visited Pacamara Boutique Coffee Roasters!  Heheheheheh. Finally! Our long awaited belated birthday celebration for Pearlpearl ~ (Exam period, couldn't celebrate it on the actual day).  Yes, so much food within 3 hours I almost exploded from food coma lolololol. Nonetheless, I'm blessed and thankful for the privilege to indulge in nice, proper food every single day. Tumtums filled again (THIS TIME TO THE MAX LOL), and made our way to ION Orchard's Diaso to shop the necessities needed for our U.S trip! Hangers, laundry bags, containers, facial wash, body wash ayeyayayaya - list goes on. Oh yes yes. Bought myself two new pairs of jeggings @ Uniqlo too.  Always hated wearing jeans or long pants cause it feels like my legs can't breathe?! LOL yea, call me a crackpot. But no seriously, CANNOT DON'T WEAR LEH ╥﹏╥ Fieldwork out in the water and forest with frightening stories of tickkkkkkssssssss. Yes our professor warned us in advanced: "A tick attaches itself to the skin of an animal and sucks blood. If you think you've been bitten by a tick, tell an adult immediately. Some ticks carry diseases (such as Lyme disease or Rocky Mountain spotted fever) and can pass them to people." - Source Mygosh no long pants and covered shoes = GG. Bobian lo... Don't like also must wear. Had it altered to comfortable length and home the sweet homeeeeeeee! And ohmygosh one of our closer friends in uni just got engageddddddddd this evening! Super sweet lo! Feel so happy and excited for her hehehe. Reality reality. Slowly but surely, we're all taking baby steps into adulthood le! Hope I stride mine with happy, stable and positive steps. Gosh yes, sleeping at a screwed up timing made me oversleep and I was so ridiculously late.  (Only 3/4 present, talented JoeJoe busy with his music stuffs again). One and half hours, harlow. I wasted 90 minutes of their life .·´¯`(>▂<)´¯`·. Camped 30 minutes under the merciless sun in a thick sweatshirt dress, tried booking a cab with GrabTaxi, none within the vicinity willing to pick me up. Bad choice of clothes wear made everything 10 times more unbearable lololol. Who to blame? Myself lo. Gave up after half an hour and took a bus to interchange to train down to City Hall. Could have just taken the damn bus right from the start right? Stupid or what, this izzzzzzz the stupid peiwennnnn. Super guilty and paiseh. Overslept the previous time for our 2nd outing @ USS and Hard Rock Hotel buffet. Snored like a rock "ignoring" the chains of calls they spammed throughout the morning. Not I ignore on purpose leh, I couldn't even hear it lo....... Snorlax or what? By the time I woke up it was already late afternoon and they jiak ba ba liao LOL. Here's a throwback to our first outing @ USS! Special thanks to ZS for the season pass hehe.  Hais (T＿T) Need to ditch this vile habit of sleeping late and oversleeping / pangseh-ing my friends. Well anyways ~~~~ Foodie on my arrivalllllllllllllllllll!  Chocolate waffles with chocolate ice cream and cream cheese carrot cake! This waffles with ice cream cost only a mere 6.50 bucks. Cheap cheap but taste wise........ Disappointing. Not impressed with the cake also. Meowwwwwww. Should have hopped down to Level 1 to try Joe and Dough's foodies instead. ZS left for church, Rob headed for Dhoby and I took a stop down to Bugis. Met the two girlies to "run some errands" eheheh. ｡◕‿◕｡  (Poor lighting, pardon the photo quality). Had it settled and we went food hunting and chit-chatted for more than 6 hours LOL. AUNTIES IN THE MAKING. Or are we already one? Hahahahah. Tried BonChon Chicken! ( ´ ▽ ` )ﾉ  My first try on Kimchi fries (◑‿◐) The stuffs weren't half bad but I still prefer Chicken Up worrrrrr eheheheh. Went over to ION Orchard for AmaSoy and continued being aunties lololol.  Hokkaido Milk Soft Serve - blend of vanilla and matcha ~ Cheap and good and it's only $3.50! Super value for money. Hehe. Pleasant day with two groups of great company. Caught the last train and bus and home sweet home! Shallow conversations, awkwardness and "invisible" barrier. Nope nope, nothing.

Hopefully this motivates me to update regularly.  Oh and yes, had my long orange-y ombreish hair snipped at the salon. Dyed it jet black too. Gosh, the regret is immediate lolol. What to do, give it time to grow again loh. Anyway, the change is so drastic that close friends and boyfriend took quite awhile to get accustomed to it (or even recognize me from a reasonable distance). Meh. Wouldn't tar it black if school accepted bold colors haha.
Time check: 4.36 A.M. Body clock has been screwed ever since my last paper on 30th. Aside from heading out or gaming I've been up till unearthly hour (almost every night) dominating episodes and episodes of Game of Thrones one after another. Can't stop watching man. Few more episodes to the latest broadcast. Totally loving the series and the theme song! SO GOOD. Alrighty alrighty time for bed bed. Shall update again soon hehe. Credits for cute bunnies. |
