Been feeling aimless and semi-depressed ever since I'm back from Japan.
It's almost like I lost a part of soul there meow..
And once again, I'm so blessed and thankful for this guy here.

Here's boyboy driving to pick up all the luggage before heading down the to airport together.

TADA LOLZ. Cheeky me, shall not do this again.



I miss bear-hugging his arms, exploring all the new places aimlessly yet anticipating-ly.
Random but amusing conversations, sometimes unfamiliarity with the grounds kept us hushed.
At times fatigue, or when entranced.
Silence that was never awkward because it was so ever comfortable.
No stress, no deadlines, no pressure with no one judging.

Just him, and me.

Rolling around at home like a hopeless potato everyday..
Well at least potatoes pacify your palate and hunger.
Not motivated or doing anything rewarding.

Eat, sleep, watch some shows, game for hours.
Head out with friends for catch-ups and food feasts..

GOD I NEED TO DO SOMETHING CONSTRUCTIVE AND START BEING USEFUL.
All the things I planned for this holiday. Gotta execute them soon.
So far I only ticked Japan off the list and I became a potato.

Anyway, Japan was amazing.

It's a lovely country with the most approachable and polite locals.
Delectable food, boundless thrills, amazing sights..
I love the air, the people.. Everything man.

The weather then was revitalizing too.
A short getaway from the perpetually sunny and humid Singapore.
Another dream come true for free air-con everywhere lo hehehehe.

It's actually warmer inside buildings compared to outside lolol.

The fact that I could be privileged to fly through fluffy clouds,
thousands feet above ground with comfortable seats, food, drinks,
and entertainment like movies, games, music blah..

Yes,
greeted by this captivating sunrise the moment I disembarked from the plane to the jet bridge.

How can I not feel blessed or thankful?
I have so many things to be thankful for.

Before take-off to Japan!
Had time to spare so we walked and explored round' Changi Airport's transit.
The boy was mainly the one bringing me around.

Movie theatre, x-box game station, sunflower garden, bars, shops and restaurants..

Lots to do there!



Oh come on, everybody wants to be a millionaire. Hor HOR? LOL.
Haha Sean's probably the only one who can tank my nonsense for years.
Oh and my mum too, for more than 2 decades LOLOL.

Anywayz, the first thing we did (or rather cause I wanted it) was?

Eat eat eat. LOL.

Sweet tooth acting up as usual. Anything chocolate-y and sweet is gooddddd.
Always always wanted to try these TWG's macarons. High raved you know!

Contemplated for a bit, got ourselves a box of 6 and finished it within like.. 10 minutes?

Can't remember the names of the exotic flavours but it was mostly good!
I think one or two tasted weird for me so I shoved it to Sean HEHE LOL.



Beautiful man-made koi pond and some massive flowery display.
In case you're wondering where's the flowery thingy I didn't take it LOLOLOL.



The Xbox PlayStation!
We only managed to complete one round of.. What do you call this? K.O fight?
LOL I don't know.. But my Kakashi got defeated by his Gaara. (▰˘︹˘▰)

Smoking's allowed here so I 'evacuated' there rather quickly lolol.



6 hours + of flight and finally arrived at Osaka!

Got there in about one - two hours time!
Grand Hyatt Hotel, our stay for the first two days! Pretty hor? Heh.



Felt kinda jet-lagged here cause I couldn't catch even a wink of sleep on the plane.

BUT IT'S ALL GOOD.
Positive mind and energy kept us going through the entire day hehe.

Settled the hotel check-in, took their hotel coach to Osaka station and had breakfast there :)
Osaka Station City. Beautiful mall and the train station's located right beside the basement!
The basement is all lined up with foodie shops just like how we have it in Singapore hehe.

(Oh see that sandwhichy? That's the very first thing we bought in Japan.
Got it from the airport transit while waiting for our 1 hour flight ^^)



Takoyakiiiiiiiiii! Takoyaki for beakfast, that's a first for me LOL.
Followed by some croquette, dorayaki and cream puffs.

All super yumyum in the tumtum!

Got ourselves express tickets cause we had other places to explore in the evening.

Yay yay and in we went!













Omg, this was like an awesome shot (because of the rolly-coaster!!!)
but I wasn't ready and I looked truly terrible so here's a cute chicky for you LOOOOL.

Enjoyed most of the rides and was feeling highly zombified due to jetlag lololol.
STILL MADLY HAPPY THOUGHZ. Here's the last ride of the day.

Boyboy refused to take it so I had to take it myself.
(It's cute to feel his sweaty palms everytime we near our turn for the rides hehehe aw.)
I was looking forward to this rolly-coasty the whole day and YOSH.

The waiting-time for this (displayed on a digital board) was like 100 freaking minutes?!
The queue was insane long and I just walked in the empty express lane ALONE.

People stoned in the queue had their glance fixated on me as I walked down ALONE.

LIKE A BOSS.

OR BALLS IF YOU LIKE IT.

Must be thinking "siao eh this sadistic girl, take alone ah? Loner ah? No friends ah?"
"Whalau cut queue la. See la another express ticket motherchicken."

LOOOOOL okay I might be thinking too much.
BUT THESE THOUGHTS SWARMED MY HEAD AS I TROT DOWN THE LANE.
THE LINE WAS LIKE SO LONG I WAS HOPING TO SEE THE PERSON IN-CHARGED
OF TEARING THE TICKET ASAP. LOOOOOOOOL.

And so! My rolly-coaster went off for like 3 seconds and stopped there for like 20 minutes.
I didn't caught what's happening cause all I understood was them apologizing unceasingly.

Enjoyed the cooling breeze up there for bout 20 whole minutes and they made us dismount.

Talk about luck here.

Remember I told you it went off a bit?  It was hard for the people at the
front rows (me included) to dismount because we're off and away the platform.

Shall skip all the nitty-gritty.
 Were brought downstairs for more waitinggggg before finally getting led up for the ride at last.

AND GUESS WHAT?
 MY AWESOME LUCK MADE ME GET THE LAST FREAKING ROW.
 RIGHT AT THE BACK. WITH NOBODY. NOBODY LEH!!!

I SAT THE RIDE ALONE. RIGHT AT THE BACK WHALAU.

Had nobody to scream with (✖╭╮✖)

It was SO awesome and worth it though! I couldn't even let out my scream at
some parts cause it was too overwhelming for my heart LOLOL.

Ended the time there and hopped on a ferry down to Osaka Aquarium!
Didn't had enough time so we just made do with Tempozan Marketplace for dinner.

It was starting to get sooooooo cold as the night closed in.

The shops downstairs were selling all the alluring snackies ♥⌣♥



Settled for dinner at がんこ/天保山店, a rather famous sushi restaurant in Japan. (^ᴗ^)۶

Here's my golden deep-fried tonkatsu embraced by bubbling omelette along with
 fragrant Japanese rice, miso soup and some tofu and vegetables!

This was kept bubbling hot for awhile by the candle underneath the pot.
Never had anything as great as this in Singaporeeeeeee.



Walked back to the station or hotel, I forgot LOL @__@
And stopped by a supermart for some late night shopping!



Got ourselves some snacks and MILK. I WANTED MILK.
I wanted to try Japan's milk so desperately and was told  "日本的奶跟新加坡的奶不一样 meh?"

Of course 不一样 la!! I just wanted to try.. Let me LOL.




Had a good night rest and was all pumped up for the next day! ┏(｀ー´)┛
Had breakfast (toasts and iced latté) at some random café in the train station and off we went!



Breakfast round 2, bought these yumyums at the subway station towards JR line.
I swear these belgian waffles are amazing!
Got the limited edition matcha flavored piece and entered another good-beyond-words trance.



Had a confusing long ride to Inari and am utterly grateful to the locals for being
so passionate and willing to go all out to help you get on the right train // destination.

Asked for directions to Inari in Japanese from two おばさん (middle-aged women) and
they got up from their seat just to looked at the map and double confirm I was on the right train.

Thanked them, walked further down the cabin for a seat then someone came
grabbing my arm exclaiming "いなり、キュ版です! キュ版 です！！"

The same obasan ran down the aisle just to tell me that she conveyed the wrong information
and the right train's actually at platform 9. Train doors were about to close at that instance
so it was so much of a panic and omg-I'm-so thankful situation..

伏見稲荷大社 (Fushimi Inari Shrine) 京都!

Gosh, I've been seeing this so much in animes (especially 「いなり、こんこん」)
and I'm finally here to witness this spectacular sight for myself. I saw the anime standie here too!





Completely blown away by magnificence!







Were enlightened by some of my followers on Instagram that the water is for purification purpose.
Rinsing of hands and mouth before entering the temple :)

Did more of these water-rinsing at Kiyomizudera Temple too!
The ones there had different words written on the top of each stream.

Apparently each stream "represents" different invocation, for instance longevity,
good health, safety, success in academic, fortunate or love life etc!







All the good wishes that people pray and hope for ｡:ﾟ*:ﾟ*｡:ﾟ*｡:ﾟ* ~
Bought ourselves one, wrote our wishes and hung it up too!

Here it is!!! Can't believe how rusty my Chinese got.
Been so many years since I wrote some Chinese characters.

Ohyes! Japanese kanji are actually Chinese characters by the way :P
Some strokes for certain characters are a little different though.










Climbed up for an hour odd and was panting like some old man / lady.
All worth it for the spectacular view.





Took us about two hours odd to climb all the way up and down.

Back down and we saw food stands!
ROAR * excited*

Another finally-thing for me haha. Saw so much of these in animes!
These takoyakis were complete beast.
SUPER crispy on bite, tender and piping-hot on the inside.
Hot I mean REAL hot with visible "vapour" // "smoke", haha you name it.

Beats all octopus balls that I've eaten anywhere hands down.







The yakitoris were super tasty too.

Next stop, Kiyomizudera Temple!

Took a cab down cause getting there was really inconvenient via public transport.
Dropped at the foot of the hill and it was so lovely to see the place all lively and high-spirited.
Hiked our way up slowly as we patron-ed the almost endless chain of shops
selling foodies, snacks and souvenirs! * kyaaaaaaa *



Bought a vanilla-matcha ice-cream here and it was likewise amazing.
Ever tried Mr Bean's soft serve ice-cream?

It tasted something like that just probably two times better! Haha.

THAT LIL' DRIP. Naughty Sean took a bite before allowing this shot. Bleahhhhh.



Purchased our entrance tickets and in we gooooooo!





Nah, don't be shy on a foreign land!
Don't be shy to ask for a peekture with pretty girls all dolled up in kimonos too! HEHE.



Almost broke my back trying to lift this. BUT I DID IT.
I did it.. Can't embarrass myself to the little kids we did it before me LOLOLOL.

Eye-opening experience here at Kiyomizu Temple.
Was about early evening then and we trained down to Dotonbori and Shinsaibashi
with our growling stomachs for dinner!!! The night streets here are unbelievably fascinating.

Too many food stalls to choose from! Took our time to stroll the streets before deciding.
And ohyea it rained.. Didn't dampen our mood though! Maybe just a little little frustrated (*≧▽≦)ﾉｼ







I wanted ramen and he wanted sushi so we said share share and eat both! LOL.
I decided on this 金龙 ramen and aww aww aww why so 可爱 again bububu ~ （＞ｙ＜）






All hail gorgeous ramen! Depleted the bowl and was greeted by this  (♥) 
And happy girlgirl and boyboy dropped by the sushi shop next for round two feast!

Great thing about this is adjusting the 'thickness' to personal liking.
Just where can I find this kind of matcha bottle in Singapore?

Avid green tea fan here hehe.



LOOK AT THE SUMPTUOUS AND EXOTIC SUSHI SPREAD.
Same price for any and every and any and everyyyyy single plate!

Per plate at about $1.50 SGD. Super duper worth it.
Had 13 plates of this and was both satisfied and stuffed to the brim.

Lousy me was shivering and freezing from the rainy // night cold again.
Walk around for a little more and back in the hotel to charge up for Day 3!



Day 1 and 2 in Osaka was totally eye-opening ^^

Bought a vanilla-matcha ice-cream here and it was likewise amazing.
Ever tried Mr Bean's soft serve ice-cream?

It tasted something like that just probably two times better! Haha.

Eye-opening experience here at Kiyomizu Temple.
Was about early evening then and we trained down to Dotonbori and Shinsaibashi
with our growling stomachs for dinner!!! The night streets here are unbelievably fascinating.

Too many food stalls to choose from! Took our time to stroll the streets before deciding.
And ohyea it rained.. Didn't dampen our mood though! Maybe just a little little frustrated (*≧▽≦)ﾉｼ







I wanted ramen and he wanted sushi so we said share share and eat both! LOL.
I decided on this 金龙 ramen and aww aww aww why so 可爱 again bububu ~ （＞ｙ＜）






All hail gorgeous ramen! Depleted the bowl and was greeted by this  (♥) 
And happy girlgirl and boyboy dropped by the sushi shop next for round two feast!

Great thing about this is adjusting the 'thickness' to personal liking.
Just where can I find this kind of matcha bottle in Singapore?

Avid green tea fan here hehe.

Same price for any and every and any and everyyyyy single plate!

Per plate at about $1.50 SGD. Super duper worth it.
Had 13 plates of this and was both satisfied and stuffed to the brim.

Walk around for a little more and back in the hotel to charge up for Day 3!
